Sync Contact Picures

Does plaxo support contact pictures from Outlook to Plaxo Online? I noticed that all of my plaxo friends with pictures exist online and in outlook, but when i added images to non-plaxo contacts the did not sync with plaxo online or my other outlook. Is this by design?

Sorry, we currently do not support syncronizing contact pictures from Outlook to Plaxo. However, this is something that may be considered for the future.
