I've seen several older posts on the topic, but I wanted to throw in my vote...
Plaxo probably has more business users than the casual user. So it would only make sense to help us out... we need integration to Microsoft Business Contact Manager. Thanks! |

Hi Jeff, and welcome to the Plaxo Forum. Thanks to you and Raphael for the suggestion; we actually have a huge number of members who use Plaxo for their personal use, though of course, we have many using Plaxo for business as well.

In fact I had to duplicate all my business contact cards int my personal cards so I can have them synchronized with my home computer.
Plaxo does not even recognize the Business Contact Folder. Did anyone found a better way to deal with this limitation?? Ricardo Ekerman |

Hello.
When will Plaxo support Microsoft Business Contact Manager? I am using Business Contact Manager, but I am not able to update these contacts with Plaxo... |

Just to add my 'two bob's worth', I have just loaded down v2.0 with the intention of installing, but that has come to a grinding halt while I work out if its worth doing.
My Palm seems to manage the merge OK, why not Plaxo? ...... |

Thanks everyone for the feedback, and others should feel free to offer the voice to the vote as well. The best answer I can provide at this time can be located here:

I have read much about this.... but I still don't understand why Plaxo will still not work with Business Contact Manager. What's the problem???

As a possible new user of Plaxo, I must agree with a number of the other posts.
I am also a user of Bussiness Contact Manager after switching from Maximizer and ACT. Why won't this program find the Business Contact Data Base folder. I am now ending up with a duplicate folder in my may contacts using my e-mail addresses from outlook. If I can't put the files in the correct folder the program does not do me any good. I am open to all suggestions and it looks like others are to! |

Correct - at this time, Plaxo does not support BCM.
I can't say I have all the technical details, but as I understand things, the problem is in how BCM manages folders. When installed, BCM takes over folder management from Outlook and changes the manner in which folders can be updated. This makes Plaxo unable to perform folder options as we normally would through Outlook. |
