Default Encoding in birthday mails

Hello!

I noticed that all data on the site are prcessing in UTF-8 encoding. So for example russian words look correct. But your mails come in ASCII-US encoding in subject and body though really this content is in the same UTF-8 encoding. Could you please fix it? I know it's so simple so if you don't know how I can help it. But of course you know

Thanks in advance

Default Re: Encoding in birthday mails

Hi Slawka, and welcome to the Plaxo Forum.

We definitely don't want to be garbling text in our e-mails, and if you can give me a few more details, I'll work with our engineers to get this issue taken care of.

- Are the problematic e-mails ones you're receiving from Plaxo, or ones your friends are receiving? Could you please forward me a sample at adam-intl@plaxo.com?

- Are both the subject and body affected? Can you give me some specifics? Is the problem specifically a person's name, or are other words affected?

- What program are you (or your friend) using to read mail?

- Is this a problem with all e-mails received from Plaxo, or just occasional ones?

I really do appreciate your assistance in tracking down this issue so we can ensure that this problem is quickly identified and addressed. Thanks!
